About Plateop

You enter a car. That can be by licence plate, VIN or by hand, depending on the country. You can paste in the listing as well. From that we build one readable purchase report with a clear verdict. It gives strengths and weaknesses, seller questions and points to watch on the test drive. So one clear piece of advice, not a data dump.

In each country we use the official vehicle register where we can. You see which source that is when you enter the car and in the report. Is there no register we may query? Then you enter the details yourself. The report then says honestly that we do not check them.

Every fact shows where it comes from. If data is missing, we say so. We never fill in an invented number. The advice is automated. It is not a valuation and not an inspection. When in doubt, always have a car inspected independently.

Plateop charges one fixed price per report. No subscription, no ads, and we do not sell your data. That is why our advice can stay independent. We earn from a good report, not from what we know about you. You do not need an account. What you enter stays on your own device.
